I write science fiction—short stories about people discovering something unexpected about themselves or the world they thought they understood.

I studied literature and philosophy in college and have been an avid fiction reader my whole life. After school, I began exploring how people create—first through design, then by starting a company, then by writing a book about creativity. Fiction was the natural next step..

I'm drawn to science fiction because it lets us build a world around a question. What if identity could be duplicated? What if a machine had to decide what counts as life? The genre gives permission to take philosophical questions and make them personal.
